Prorated class option --- If you know you’ll miss any classes before the start of the session, let us know in the notes at the bottom of the form, and we will prorate your tuition!

Monthly Payment Plan Option ---  paying in two monthly installments of $120 each is an option.

Locations: Classes will be held outdoors on public/private lands around Helena area. Exact location will vary depending on the lesson. Each Sunday evening, an email will be sent out with the location for the week and any other details you need to know.

During our fall session, we will be exploring our local waterways, from calculating water flows, the importance of healthy watersheds and macroinvertebrates to how our water is treated and the creation of dams and reservoirs. During this session, we will include hands-on activities and projects such as mapping, water reports, and of course all kinds of field observations and explorations! We will also devote time each day to deepen our learning through nature journaling practice - this intentional time provides a chance to learn a variety of nature journaling techniques such as writing, collecting, observing under the microscope, sketching/painting our observations from the day, and overall enjoying a peaceful moment in nature.
