Volunteer With Us
At Helena Field School, we believe strongly in community, nurturing healthy bodies and minds, learning through exploration, wonder and curiosity, hands-on experiences, and place-based projects, and the numerous, research-backed benefits of being in nature. Volunteering with us is about supporting outdoor education, connecting with nature and our place, creating meaningful experiences for yourself, our learners, and our community, and making a positive difference in the world.
There are many different ways to volunteer with us! They include:

Assisting with our outdoor Field School classes (ages 5-10; or 10-14)

Leading or assisting with field trips in our community

Administrative support

Community science opportunities
We also welcome any (second hand or new) material donations that can be used for our classes! Some ideas include:
